Jacqui Rautenbach - Jansen
Getting an email from you was a pleasant surprise. Well, here goes.
I married a wonderful man, Arno Jansen, a German South African, in April 1989. We moved to the USA in 2000 and first lived in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Then we moved to West Palm Beach, Florida for 4 years. Arno was doing a project for the United States Sugar Corporation. He started his own Project Management Company in November 2007, called Tago International. We moved to San Antonio, Texas in June 2008 and will settle here. It's a great place for families and apparently a lot of South Africans live here. 'Still have to investigate.
We have two wonderful kids: a girl, Samantha (15) and a boy, Daniel (11). Samantha is going to 9th grade in August '09 and wants to become a Veterinarian. Daniel is going to 6th Grade and plays soccer for the San Antonio Soccer United Club. Both are playing music instruments and are strong academics. We are very blessed.
We enjoy boating, waterskiing, motocross and cycling as a family. Arno and Daniel will start skeetshooting soon and Samantha and I volunteer at the Humane Society for Animals.
Unfortunately I will not be able to attend a reunion but will appreciate some pictures.
